KATHY BRIER currently plays "Marcie McBain" on the TV soap ONE LIFE TO LIVE and starred as Tracy in the Broadway musical HAIRSPRAY opposite Harvey Fierstein in 2003. JEFFRY DENMAN's backstage diary A YEAR WITH THE PRODUCERS is an entertaining account of one of the biggest musical blockbusters of all time. Mr. Denman was Matthew Broderick's understudy during the original Broadway run and performed the role of Leo Bloom several times during 2001. Presented during the 2004 New York Fringe Festival, PRETTY FACES by composer Robert Cabell takes place at a beauty pageant for plus-size women. According to the liner notes, "there is a strong sense of camaraderie and healthy competitiveness as the contestants share the wonder and novelty of being "glamour girls" for the first time in their lives."
